My definition of cottagecore may not fit the majority of others but that’s okay because it fits me perfectly

A Cottagecore lifestyle is not only is about appreciating the simple things of life but also cultivating love, comfort, freedom, peace and happiness.

If they try to force you to be defined the way they want you to be defined then you can let them know this one thing:

“This is my cottagecore aesthetic. It may not be your definition type of cottagecore but it’s my type”

Today I wanted to learn a little about what Cottagecore is to me and it’s about creating a calm to call my own.

The way I slowly incorporate a little bit of the cottagecore lifestyle into my daily routine is seeing life through rose colored lenses in a metaphorical way and the way I do that is through making tiktok of the weather and nature around me with filters I found off of instagram~

Another way that I explore the cottagecore lifestyle is by listening to calming classical music or positive uplifting music about happiness or freedom or peace~

Any of the old school Cartoon Disney movies like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty or even Bambi is a great start~
