Achieving the Cottagecore Aesthetic || Winter Edition

I always wondered what should I wear for winter that will help me keep the cottagecore aesthetic since for winter time since it wouldn’t be the wises choice for my immune system for me to run out in the middle of winter in Iowa in a light floral spring dress and flats…..

Luckily the way that I learned how to dress in a Cottagecore style for cold weather was to switch my thinner fabric pastel cute outfit style for a thicker fabric, soft and cozy sweater dress style!

Here are a few of my cottagecore Sweater dress outfit wishlist Etsy Shop finds from KnitdotCo & Its Vintage Beauty that still will keep me warm during the winter but also still lets me feel like a cozy cottagecore girl in the country~

So that means instead of looking for one layer pastel colors I look for warmer and medium saturated colors like those cute ankle boots that look like light brown sugar~

Focusing on colors that almost remind me of cookie ingredients or the light academia style also helps me to still keep that kind of whimsical feeling to my style.

The beauty of Cottagecore aesthetics is that there is no absolute definition~ You can pick and choose whatever gives you that cottagecore feeling~
